How to read the ratings on this page

The operator profiles and client feedback shown here are published for general information only. We collect verified reviews from individuals who have completed a legal matter with a listed attorney or firm. Every submission is checked against our internal validation rules before it appears on the site.

A star score reflects the average of all verified ratings received for that professional during the past 24 months. We do not adjust scores based on the volume of reviews, the size of the firm, or any commercial relationship. The narrative summaries are written by our editorial team based on the specific comments left by clients, not by the attorneys themselves.

What counts as a verified review

A review is only published if the client confirms they have a signed engagement letter or a paid invoice from the attorney. We do not accept anonymous submissions or feedback from family members who were not directly involved in the matter.

What is not included in a score

We do not factor in the outcome of a case, the amount of a settlement, or the length of the legal process. Our ratings focus on communication, fee transparency, case handling, and overall client satisfaction as described in the review.

Response timelines

When a client mentions a delay or a quick reply, we record the approximate time frame as described in the review. This is not a measured metric from the attorney’s office, but a reflection of the client’s stated experience.

Practical guidance vs. legal advice

The preparation tips and consultation checklists on this page are general guidance. They do not constitute legal advice. Always confirm specific steps with a qualified attorney who understands your matter.

Editorial independence

Dovetail Law Reviews does not accept payment from attorneys or firms to alter a rating, remove a review, or change the order of profiles. If a listed professional disputes a review, we ask them to provide a written response that is published alongside the original feedback. This keeps the process transparent for both sides.
